The ultimate turkey burger. A great way of getting flavour into that turkey mince. Don’t be put off by the ingredients list, as most of them are knocking about your kitchen. If you want to keep the carbs down, why not sub in some lettuce cups for the wholemeal buns.
Turkey Burgers:

450g minced turkey

Zest of 1 lemon

2 shallots finely diced

1 piece of grated ginger (thumb size)

2 cloves of garlic finely diced

Pinch of sea salt

Bunch of coriander finely chopped (alternatively use parley or thyme)

Camelina oil

6 slices of white cheddar (or cheese of your choice)

6 slices of turkey bacon

1/4 of a head of Iceberg lettuce shredded

Wholegrain buns
Pickled Onion:

1 red onion finely sliced

Pinch of sea salt

4-5 Tbsp white wine vinegar
Burger Sauce:

3 Tbsp mayonnaise

1 Tbsp Worcester sauce

1 tsp tabasco sauce

Juice of 1 lemon
