Fish Tacos Recipe

A gorgeous light healthy meal that can be made in minutes. Watch out for any bones in the fish. Make sure your fish monger removes them for you. For more great recipes and info on Uncle Ben’s products please click here!


  • 1 pound of white flaky fish

  • Olive oil

  • 1 lime, juiced

  • Fresh thyme

  • 1 bunch chopped fresh coriander

  • 8 flour tortillas

To garnish

  • Uncle Ben’s 3 Bean and Chilli

  • 2 heaped tablespoons Natural yoghurt

  • 1tsp Harissa

  • 1 chilli chopped


Firstly, season the fish with sea salt and cracked black pepper.

On a hot frying pan, add in the olive oil. Place the fish skin side down. Cook it on a medium high heat until the skin is really nice and crispy. Add half the lime juice and the fresh thyme.

Take the fish off the pan and keep warm. Add the Uncle Ben’s 3 Bean & Chilli rice to the pan and now add the rest of the lime juice and the chopped coriander.

Place the yoghurt into a small bowl. Make the harissa into a paste with 2 teaspoons of water, then swirl through the yoghurt.

Heat the tortillas and then build them up, firstly the rice, then the fish and then top with the spicy yoghurt and chopped chilli.
